Who has a Pro-Built 4L60E?

Okay, so I've read many positive comments about Dana's Pro-built 4L60Es. What I want to know is...

Who has one of his 4L60E's?

How much HP/Torque is your setup and how long has the tranny lasted?

Anyone have anything negative to say about Pro-builts 4L60E?

Thanks for your time and comments.

Re: Who has a Pro-Built 4L60E?

I ended up going with an Art-Carr 4L60E onyl because I needed a tranny really fast and couldnt wait for Pro Built. But when I spoke to Dana at Pro Built he definatly knows what hes doing and I have heard many praises from his customers when it comes to his 4L60E's. He was my 1st choice, but due to an emergency I had to go with the one that got me the tranny faster. If time wasnt a TIME issue a Pro built 4L60E would be in my car right now. I say go for it, cant beat the price/performance from Dana.

Re: Who has a Pro-Built 4L60E?

I had a Pro-Built 700R4 in my 89 T/A (pretty much stock TBI) It worked awesome for a little over a year when I sold the car. Dana was VERY cool to deal with, and definitely knows his 700R4/4L60E's. I'm probably getting one for my '97 here pretty soon.

Question Re: Who has a Pro-Built 4L60E?

Anyone have a link?

So, who would anybody recommend more; Pro-Built, or Lt1Dave?

www.lt1dave.com

Re: Who has a Pro-Built 4L60E?

While I dont know anything about "LT1Dave", it seems like he does all kinds of stuff thats 4thgen related. Dana (pro-Built) rebuilds these trannies all day every day, and not much else. You could say he specialises in JUST the 700R4/4L60E and as stated before, I had a great experience with him before.

Pro-Built all day long!

I was going to post the exact same question just now, until I saw this thread. I agree Dana's knowlege impressed
me. He helped me configure my purchace specifically for my car and drving habits.

BTW I'm going for the 4l60e street/strip w/ a vig 2800
stall and the vaccum modulator option.

Anyone can give me particulars on the modulator and driveability on a 2800 stall?
