Don't buy a f****** Raptor. I've had 3 in my car and it's still not right. The first one was in for 18 days, sent it back, the next one lasted 41 days, sent it back, they sent me a whole new transmission. This one has been in for a while (month or so) BUT...

The day after I had it installed, I got a letter in the mail with a small o-ring taped to it. They said "We believe this might have been left off, check and see". Good damn thing my mechanic noticed it WAS left off, he took the one off the old trans and put it on the new (input shaft o-ring). But now it works fine as long as you leave it in drive. Take it out and try to manually shift, it takes on a mind of it's own. Upshifts, downshifts, back and forth, it's basically worthless for manual shifts. They wanted to know if I could drive it down and let them look at it...I'm in Atlanta and they're in Louisiana. Yea, right, let me hop in the car, I'll be there in a few minutes.

DO NOT BUY FROM PATC (Raptor 4L60E)

Good info. Raptor is out. I am really liking the CM tranny but will have to take a look at FLPs although I am a bit pissed about my headers rusting from their crapass coating.

Damn, they warranty it to 700 rwhp? That is quite a warranty for $1,400. I will have to give them a call. Where are they out of?
