i was racing my friend with a 97 ws6 383 m6 and after four runs, the tranny went out. on the fourth run, it revved to 7000 and i let go of the gas right away. after that i was driving home and in 2nd gear, it would just rev up. it wouldnt shift into 3rd. its been rebuilt twice already. im tired of dealing with that weak 4l60e.

is there a tranny i can replace it with that can withstand what i have and have od? its gonna be driven atleast 4 days a weak and i will be doing highway driving. should i just go with an m6 or will it be too expensive? what about rebuilding that one again? i heard lt1dave.com does some good jobs. what level would you recommend?
