Post What should i ask for when i get the tranny rebuilt?

Getting it done Monday and need to know what exactly i should get done to it. This will be the 4th fix for the tranny and it his getting old and costly to keep doing this. I want to get it done
right this time and need to know what to go with.

on the 4l60e if it happens again

Are you going to build this transmission yourself?

For the price of a rebuild you can almost afford a new tranny. Since this is the 4th time why not just get a new one?

www.ls1speed.com has some beefed up 4L60Es

PRO BUILT, no.... I was going to let a shop do it this time. What all should be asked for when it is getting done? I dropped it off
at the shop this morning. True cripple..very true..

I just found out something on my previos tranny problems though. I was told by them that they just fixed the problem, they didn't do a complete rebuild on it, so hopefully, this will cure all
the problems that weren't fixed the previous times.
