I have a 1995 z28 with a 150k miles....my auto tranny seems to be slippin trying to get into third gear big time....it will go from first to second smooth, but shifting into third just high revs and doesnt wanna shift?? i just replaced the filter and fluid.....the old fluid wasnt black though.....does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem....i also heard that the coil could have somethin to do with it?? but i dont see how those two relate.....thaxn for any ideas....

 

3-4 clutch pack is gone. It is the weakest part of the trany and the first to go. Call Pro-Built and he will steer you in the right direction on repair. 1-800-776-3288.
