what happens when pilot bearing breaks?

I just installed a spec 3 900 mi ago and it was feeling great after I broke it in but now it is slipping going into first and the pedal is vibrating as I go into first also.

I used the pilot bearing in the kit that came with the clutch(I know I should have got a bushing).
Just wandering what it could be.
thanks
Josh
