NO...you may get other answers but the important thing is it is all theory

The gear aren't the weak part anyway...I think its mostly housing flex..so maybe try a girdle with preloads for the caps

Unhappy

Here's another opinion you probably won't want to hear.

I'm changing back from 4.10's to 3.73's. With a near stock M6 car, going from 3.42's to 4.10's will indeed give you a great performance "kick", but....... once you start in with the other mods...........first gear becomes pretty much useless. If you look at my signiture, my car is somewhat similar to what yours will be with P&P heads and a GM 847 cam, (yours should actually be stronger!), and the 12.210 @ 115+ mph I ran came on a 1.93 short time on MT ET Streets. My best 60 foot time with my car is 1.87 seconds, and I routinely see A4 cars on drag radials, (not even slicks), running 12.7 to 13.0 in the quarter.... turning 1.70/1.75 short times, on their high 12 second passes.

Again, on the street, I run 315/35/17 Nitto's out back and first gear is pretty much useless. If you want a more fun car to drive on the street......... with your projected level of mods..........I'd go with 3.73's. Just my opinion.
