Just curious, what can a broken or worn tranny mount affect? Performance? Wear?

When mine broke it would make terrible noise when I accelerated, you can jack the car up and get under and visually inspect the mount. Or push up on the transmission just a little to see if any of the mount is broken. (I think it was kind of hard to tell unless I did that on mine). It will definately affect your performance and might mess your trans up if you don't fix it since it is not secured and is kind of free to bounce all over. I replied to your other topic on how I replaced mine and I also found this link although it's not how I replaced mine.
