what do i need to make a 700r4 work

in a 97 Trans Am? If I manually downshift, and can live without a speedo will it bolt in and work?

It will bolt in. You will need the cable brackets and the throttlebody (I believe) from a 93 car. Also, I believe your VSS should plug into the 700r4, but don't quote me on that one.
