What do I need with gears

I am wanting to put in 4.10 and I was wondering what else is needed. I am having a shop put these in. I have seen the T/A grill and heard it is recommended. And will have pcmforless.com reprogram the computer for the speedo. So am I missing anything.

you dont have to have your computer re programed...just buy a power programmer...you can change for wheel upgrades and new gears... a friend of mine has 4.10s in his z28 and loves it...but you will be needing drag radials for sure...if not slicks...

bad advice. a power programer is crap.

>I agree as far as the tuning part , but if you have one than they are great for wheel diameter size changes , and gear ratio changes . If you plan to get your PCM reprogrammed and already own a Hypertech (or equivalent) than you could change those two items anytime without resending the PCM backout to the reprogrammer .
just my opinion and what I do .
