what are the differences between the 94 and 95-97 4l60e?

I asked this in the lt1 forum before but no one could give me a good answer so i decided to try here. I just bought a built 4l60e from another board memebr to use in my 97 and i have heard different things that are different like the pwm. and the wiring harness is different. i would really like to find out before i put it in and i wasnt able to find any info on the net about it. if i have to i would like to know if i can just switch the wiring harnesses and tcc switch or whatever else would need it to use this trans. thanks for any info in advance.

This would be best discussed in the DriveTrain forum, Transfering.
Thanks.
