What did you gain at the track with your Vigilante converter?

I just ordered a Vig3200 for my car. Already have my high stall fix (thanks Mario)

I was just wondering what kind of gains should I expect (personal experineces anyone?)

I'm mainly worried about my MPH i dont want to lose any

It depends on how much the stock converter was holding you back,if you dont have an after market cam then you might lose a few mph but gain a couple tenths in the 1/4.If you do have a cam then the converter might help you pick up as much as 3-4 tenths and help pick up a few mph

Vig 9.5" 3600 stall (lock up) in car since 1996...easy enough for daily driver...5 solid tenths at the track, and lost no mph...just had it freshened only because I had trans rebuilt and wanted everything fresh...2 year unconditional warranty and a free stall upgrade...I'm a huge fan of this converter...it aint cheap, but you get what you pay for...big time

My buddy gained around 4-5 tenths in his TA...not sure if he lost any mph. If he did it was only maybe 1-2mph. That was with stock 2.73's and on an otherwise mostly stock car. 2800 9.5 inch vigilante. I have a 3000rpm vig. and I know I'm gonna gain some great times this summer. I can tell already.

Like the other dude said....."you get what you pay for"

A Vig is definatly worth the money.

I don't have alot of good comparison data as my motor blew up on the second pass after putting the vig in (old combo, hence the reason for the 383 )

The car would usually run 12.4 @ 111 and on the first pass I left soft and cut a 1.800 sixty ft and ran 12.09 @ 112.

The next (and last ) pass it came screaming out of the hole and cut a 1.66 sixty ft and blew up at the 1000 ft mark and still ran 12.5 @ 100. It definatly would have ran a 11 second pass if it would have held together for another 300 ft

I just got a Vig for my LS-1 and hope to get some track results next week.

I tried a B&M holeshot and threw it in the trash when I installed the Vig (in the 94).
