What could I have messed up in the drivetrain?

So last fall I was making the attempt to change out my oil pan gasket. I unbolted the motor and jacked it up some and completely forgot to unbolt the tranny so it could lift up as well. After getting it back together it was making a rattle noise like a loose vibrating heat shield and the clutch slipped like a ****. I just ended up parking it for the winter. I have had the tranny out a couple times with zero issues I just had a brain fart on this one for some reason. I have needed to change my clutch out anyways so it does not bother me to have to tear it down. Besides any clutch related damage, could there be anything else I need to look at while it is apart??

Shouldn't affect anything by not unbolting the tranny, it will just pivot on the trans mount. I've done it many times before on all different types of cars with no issue. Not sure why you're getting that rattling noise and slipping clutch, maybe you got some oil spilled back into the clutch when you changed the gasket? Maybe broke a heat shield loose when you were working under there?
