ok so way back int he day i bought a moser12 bolt with 4.11s and never really paid attention to all the options like a retard. now that im all turbo crazy i need to change my rear end gears to 3.42s but i donno what carrier i have and im currently in iraq so i cant just go pop off the cover and look. the rear end was setup for the ABS too i forget if it was 3 channel or w/e, 35 spline axles with c-clip eliminators. does moser have a set carrier for the 4.11s? i need to know b/c right now im ordering all the parts that im gonna need to put the car back together when i get back home. if anyone could shine some light on this it would help me out alot. thanks in advance.

 

Yeah this is a realy old thread.........but............Question? Did you ever find out what you had to do. My brother is going from 3.42 gears on a 3 series carrier in his moser 12 bolt w/ eaton posi and wants to go the other direction with a 4.10 or 4.11 gear. Question is does he need the 4 series carrier? Anyone?

 

They make crossover gearsets. Just order a 4.10/11 for a 3 series carrier.
