What is all needed for gear install?

I bought a 3 series carrier w/ 3.42 gears and I am not sure what parts I need to do this. I am seeing on thunderracing.com there is an install kit. And I will need some red line and posi additive. Is there anything else I will need? I am bumping from 2.73 to 3.42. Anything else will be very helpful

Buy the Deluxe Kit. That kit comes with bearings and seals. The Complete Kit doesn't. Bearings and seals are definitely two things you want to replace when changing the gears. You might want to buy the T/A rear girdle and stud kit also. It will help your 10 bolt stay in one piece.

It's up to you, but i used a solid pinion spacer in mine instead of the crush sleeve, bought it from Summit. I also got my rearend girdle from Summit to. It is basically the same as the T/A cover, except it says Summit and is cheaper in price than the T/A cover.

You also need a reluctor ring if you want to keep your ABS working. SLP has them for 20 bucks. I did the same swap.
