So I am crusing in my car today I manually shift my auto down into 3rd floor it shift into 3rd all good up until 4000-5000rpms and it just instantly goes to redline and it kinda made a grinding noise not really misfiring and just didn't shift till I got out of it almost all the way then back in it. **** was weird could it be blowing out the spark due to a bad coil?

This crap was way different than any misfiring problem I have had in the past.
