Weird noise from right rear?
Weird noise from right rear?
Alright I just put a set of 10 spokes on my car with a new set of Goodyear M+S 275-40-17. That might not have anything to do with this but I figured I throw that out in case. Anyway, since its gotten cold, if the rear wheels break loose the right rear makes all kinds of horrible noises. First it would shudder terribly and if I didn't let off right away, the ABS INOP light came on, after stoping and restarting the car the light would be gone. Now there is more of a rubbing, moaning noise from the same wheel. I haven't had a chance to pull the rear wheel and look yet, (I don't know if I want to.
) but I was just curious if anyone had heard this or delt with something similar. Did I finally kill the 10 bolt or are my brakes freaking out? Any help would be apreciated.

this happened to me exactly as you are describing and now my transmission is shot! I have no idea what it was.. my abs inop light kept coming on and then i would restart car and it would go away..... but everytime i would gun it and when it was shifting from 1st to 2nd the right rear or whatever it was would make a thud noise followed by the abs inop light..... so if you can figure out what caused this let me know i'm curious as well......
