Viper t56 mainshaft question

does anyone know what the length of the viper mainshaft is. i know it has to be cut down to work in an fbody but i was wondering how much? you can buy a viper mainshaft from thegearbox.org for cheap but then it would have to be cut and was thinking of cutting it myself. anyone know?
