vig 2800 stall question

Will this be ok to install before putting in a cam? I mean how is the driveability or should i wait to install it after a cam swap?

Sure throw it in there. It will be worth alot with some sticky tires in the 1/4.

What rear gears are you running? It does make a difference on how the converter feels.

Re: vig 2800 stall question

With 2.73's it will feel a little loose, but not bad. I started off with 3.23's and went with 3.73's. It felt like the converter was re-stalled a couple hundred lower after that. With that said, a Vig. 2800 with 3.42 to 3.73's is the way these cars should have come from the factory. It's really not that bad on the highway if you can obey the speed limit.
