Vibration???

Well, I've had this one for a long time, never really bothered to ask about it, but now that I've replaced quite a few things I'm wondering what's worn out before it breaks...

Anyway, it's fairly noticeable at highway speeds, and it seems to increase it's frequency with speed.. but what's wierd is, going straight you can slightly hear it, going around a slow left it's much louder, and a slow right you can't hear it at all.

Here's what has been replaced with no effect on the noise/vibration:

Transmission
Driveshaft
Tires
Tie Rod Ends

Anyone have ideas? I was thinking something in the suspension, or else the rear end, but since I mostly stick to engine/tranny/electrical work I'm a little lost on what it could be, and how serious it is.

Re: Vibration???

Sounds like your right wheel bearings. I would just replace them both.

Re: Vibration???

Thanks for your responses guys. If it is indeed wheel bearings, is that something I can do at home? I've heard both ways on that one.

Re: Vibration???

The front hub assemblies house the front bearings and the ABS doohicky. These are easy to replace yourself. As for the rear bearings, you'd have to know to take apart/assemble a rear end.
