Preparing for winter

Ok, I just got my car at the end of July, and this will be the first winter I'll be driving it. I have a 94 3.4V6 Auto, and I've read that they didn't come with a LSD. I've also read that a LSD would help driving a lot in the winter. So, what would I need to buy to get a LSD in my car? If you could give me a Jeg's number or something, that would be great. Also, where would I get this put in my car? (There aren't many car places around here to get work done.)
