very knocking/hard going into 2nd

very knocking/hard going into 2nd

when I move the shifter into 2nd I get resistance and a knocking back type feel from the shifter, do I need a new shifter or is it tranny related?

Not sure, but I'd check your torque arm mount thats on the tailshaft of the tranny and I'd also check your tranny mount.
