Are V6 pedals the same as V8 pedals?

Are V6 pedals the same as V8 pedals?
Basically I don't have the money to buy a T56 kit, and have had thoughts of piecing it together.
Will V6 pedals bolt in, and work the same as V8 pedals?
Also can you swap an automatic brake pedal onto a manual pedal assymbly? I would like to keep the wide brake pedal for my autoxing.
