V-body rear end fit in my F-body?

I want to change my rear end out my 1995 Z28 6 speed with the rear end out a 2006 GTO 6 speed. Will it bolt right up or will I need to make special mods. Is the GTO rear end better than my stock rear end?

The GTO has an independent semi-trailing control-link rear suspension. Your Z28 has a solid rear axle with a torque arm. It's not likely any parts would be interchangeable.

One more thing about the GTO rear - it has SERIOUS wheel hop issues with stock (for a GTO anyway) power levels.

if you're set on going IRS try looking into the cobra rear. there were several companies a few years back that made a kit to bolt it right into a fox body no reason you couldn't adapt one to the f-body.
