Upgraded posi for series 2 carrier?

I've been searching a lot (which is hard to do when it won't let you search for single characters like the number "2") and I haven't found any information about getting a new (either stock or aftermarket) posi for a series 2 carrier. Reason I need one is that my current one has been delegated to one-wheel peel only action and that won't help me get new pb's this spring. Anyone have any solutions to this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,
Sean

Good idea because the 2.73 ls1's probably had series 2 diffs. I will check it out.
Thanks man,
Sean

Did you try doing a search for carrier. I had a complete 10 bolt last year with series 2 carrier that I let go for $150.00. Sorry wish I could be of more help.

Hey no prob man at least you've given me hope. A spare 10 bolt would be nice too so maybe I'll look for something like that.
Thanks,
Sean

Since you have to replace it, why not go to a 3 series carrier. gears are usually easier to get for these.

I don't wanna spend the money to get a series 3 carrier and then gears and then yada yada. I'll probably have a 12bolt or 9" in it by mid summer anyways.

Don't mean to hijack your thread but how long did it take you to remove your HVAC? I am going to be tackling this in the next couple of weeks.

I would say a whole day and you should have it all out and all back together.
