turbo 400

will the T400 bolt up to an LS1 ? Im not a camaro person and this motors not going into a camaro. its gonna be in an off road race truck and i was told to ask here to see if any of you guys know the answer. I do not need all the electrical stuff in the tranny and am planning on just doing a reverse manual valve body and runnoing an art carr type shifter

thanks,
Gregg

Yes it will bolt up minus one bolt but there are tons of ls1 guys running this way. You will need a flexplate and torque converter for an ls1. I think the snout is longer on the ls1 converters. If you want a speedo it takes a little extra work as well.

Check out ls1tech.com , there are a ton of guys running th400/th350s over there.
