Hey everyone I'm about to start building a th400 for my car already ordered up a crossmember and torque mt looking for some info on flywheels and torque convertors. Anything special needed or will the standard 400 converter bolt up to my stock style and bolt pattern flywheel from my 4l60e Thanks

A standard converter won't work. When I order a converter for a 400 behind an LS, I have to be specific about it.
How do you plan on operating your speedometer?

I read on this forum actually a visas and reluctor from a mid 90s Chevy truck will work also I use hp tuners so I can easily program for different tooth count. Also my converter supplier said a 350 converter will fit

The parts to make the speedo work have been discontinued from GM. IF you can find them, it's usually in the $200 range for the VSS and exciter ring. IF you can find the parts, they're a direct swap. No recalibration needed.

Any idea what they came in?? I can't seem to find which truck the speed sensor came in. The 4l60e sensor is 2.075 vs the hole on a 400 is 1.940 I saw a picture of a oem sensor in a 400 so I know it is out there
