Turbo 350 and Lt1 Vss question

So I got a 95 lt1 with the complete wiring harness and pcm.

This is going into my 59 impala.. I know the turbo 350 will bolt up to the stock flywheel from the lt1..

Question is im going to have to get the computer flashed to remove the transmission codes amongst other stuff like the egr. but what happens with the VSS.. Does that get tuned out? because i know the th350 has no sensor..

Re: Turbo 350 and Lt1 Vss question

The PCM needs speed input for a number of engine control functions. You can't just get rid of the VSS.

The installation of a VSS on the TH350 and TH400 has been discussed in a few posts on the "Drivetrain" forum. Try this one for starters:

I'll move your thread to "Drivetrain", since this is the LT1 Based Engine forum.
