Troubles getting into 6th

Lately I've been having problems getting my M6 to go into 6th gear. I pull it down into place and it vibrates and pops out. The only way to get it in is to literally slam it in and sometimes that doesn't even work. It never really grinds going in either.

Do I have some messed up synchros? Bad shift fork or shift rail? What's the problem here folks? Very rarely, but I also have problems getting it into reverse too.

Thanks for the help fellas.

Re: Troubles getting into 6th

if you read a repair manual it will tell you that if you cant go in and out of reverse smoothly, then there is clutch pp component failure

Re: Troubles getting into 6th

It's got a new clutch and reverse doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. It goes in just fine. However, I still have problems with 6th gear. It grinds a little when letting the clutch out when it hasn't fully engaged.
