Transmission year?

Most part suppliers list the 4L60E parts as 1993-1996 and 1997-Present. I have a 97 LT1 with 4L60E. Would my transmission be considered 96 or was the 4L60E in the 97 LT1s different?

Re: Transmission year?

AFAIK it's the same as the '96. '94-'97 is generally the same with a few minor exceptions. 98-up are different.
