I have a 94z28 with a 4l60e. The problem is the is a clicking sound underneth the car it get louder when it put it in gear and give it gas the car will go in all gears but is has a hard time down shifting by it self and now my check engine light comes on. The whole car shakes when im diving it and it tries to down shift it seems to almost die. Could these be the tranny pump? I am ready to give up on this car! Thanks for the hel[p.

 

I might be shooting in the dark here, but it kinda sounds like a faulty TCC or Torque Converter Clutch like it's sticking and that could throw a SES, You might get the code scanned and if it is that. The quickest replacement is the converter itself.

 

Yea prob what it is I just installed a 3200 stall. Damn it it was a pain in the a$$ to put that thing in!!!
