My 02 Z28 will not shift out of first under normal acceleration until about 4k rpm's, 2500 if i let off the gas. car has 13,400 miles on it, any ideas on what could be wrong?

 

Assuming you have checked the fluid level in your A4, it is under warranty right. Let them fix it.

 

I well intend to, but i would still like to know why it would start doin that at such low mileage.

 

Chevy dealer said 2nd gear was burned out, thats all i know so far, i will find out more tomorrow when i go to pick it up. How come my car which is stock burns out second and my friend who runs 11's has a stock tranny (both automatics) doesn't?
