hope someone can help. my mom has a 95 z28 with an auto trans. about a year ago the reverse went out on it. all other gears work great. she doesnt seen a point in spending a ton of money to see whats wrong or fixing it until its totally dead. i might be getting this car in a couple months and was wondering if anyone in here knew what the problem might be.

 

I am sure that is a specific failure I have heard of, though exactly what I don't remember. Call a tranny shop and they should know immediately when you describe that.
