Clutch master cylinder help please.

We've just about finished a t56 swap into my 1995 Camaro but we've hit a snag.

The clutch master cylinder will not compress. Pushing on the shaft directly or with the pedal causes no movement at all. We've bled the clutch by holding the master cylinder straight up and squeezing the air out through the top using the slave cylinder as described in the techincal manual. We even pulled the entire assembly back out of the car and tried to bench bleed it. No matter what the damn shaft for the master cylinder will not move. The slave cylinder moves fine. What gives? I'm about 2inches away from being reunited with my baby and I'm starting to feel camaro withdrawl.

Thanks
