ok so this doesn't happen all the time but recently all of a sudden my car doesn't shift it doesn't shift down or up and seems like its stuck in second gear. And if i shut the car off and put it in park and start it up again its fine. i had a couple of codes for it about a year ago when this was really bad it said it was the shift solenoid and i replaced it twice that happened to me twice last year. But anyway idk if its slipping or an electrical issue when i changed the solenoid i didn't see any metal shavings or anything. But what it feels like now is that its getting thrown into gear and not clunking but hard shifts. I think this tranny is on its way out but idk i'm going to get a new one soon but if its a quick problem fixer ill do that in the mean time. oh yeah sorry i forgot to mention its a bone stock 4l60e and has 105k on it
