transmission mount and tuneup kit. . .

i have a 1996 z28 with the lt1 . i have had 2 transmission mounts put on . since august 05 and now i need a 3rd . i am not a hot rodder . any suggestions on whats causing them to go out or what kind to use . also , iam about to have a tuneup done . what are the best tuneup kits . i will appreciate any and all help .

325 ft.lbs of torque? Or just crappy mounts. Buy poly mount. It'll be a little rougher ride but they won't break near as easy.

Yea I kinda have the same problem as you I broke one last May, last December, and I have a broken one right now, I am switching over to the new "LS1" style mount this time. Hopefully it will work, they are supposed to be stronger, I guess we will find out.
