transmission mount

i found out i broke the mount or mounts that holds my tranny in place, so on WOT it hits under the shifter.


anyone know how much this is to replace, im kinda low on money so also if i drive slow and don't launch will i be alright for a lil while

You don't want to go any longer than you have to otherwise you could damage more stuff, which you definately don't want. A poly replacement will run you around $30 bucks. I got mine from Thunder Racing Just do a search for Transmission mounts. I think theirs is around $23 bucks for a poly one, add tax(of needed) and S&H and your around $30 bucks to your door. Takes about 10 min. to install. A lot of people say they noticed added vibration after swapping from stock, but I never remember experiencing this.

You can hit any one of your local parts stores and pick one up for under $30. That should not break the bank. Granted, the mount may not be the "best" one made; but then again, it beats having your transmission feel like it is coming through the console.

I got mine from thunder too. Prothane poly and under $30 shipped. Plus the fact that it takes 15 minutes to change is nice as well.
