i just had my trans rebuilt for 1,250 on my 96 lt1...the 3,4 clutch was shot ,,,the mechanic told me that the trans. was going to leak for a little how until the seals expand or swell inside the trans. is that entirely true ...i just dont want to feel like hes trying to get over me .....ive put about 45 to 50 miles on the trans. since it been out the shop and it still leak a little ...not much though

 

It really shouldnt leak. Any idesa exactly where its leaking at ?

 

in the front..right in front of the trans pan ...but its not the pan.. its where it connect i guess to the engine compartment ..in that area
