Angry a transmission headache

i have a 96 1500 pick-up with a LT1 out of a 95 Z28 bolted up to a 3 speed turbo 350 with shift kit. the converter dissengages from the transmission. this is the 3 time it has happened. the first time i took it apart and i just put it back togater and it ran fine for three months or so. it happened again i did the same thing but i spaced the converter closer to the transmission. and two months later it happened again. has anybody succesfully bolted a turbo 350 to an LT1?

The LT-1 style engine has have many 350s bolted to it for many years.
However sounds like a converter spacing issue indeed.
When you reinstall this time measure with the converter pushed all the way back into the trans you want APROX 1/8 to the flex plate if you have more the shim to get as close as possible.
