Arrow Transmission guys inside please ~~~~>

The tranny has been re-built... everything has been replaced.. still cant get the 2-3 to shift under WOT. Could this be a faulty
tranny or could it be a bad PCM? Bryan at pcmforless was in the
car programming it and he said he has never seen one this bad.
What could be wrong with it? Its pretty much done this since day one when i started to race the car. Some input would be much
appreciated right now.

What are the sings of a bad PCM? You know it really sucks when you are racing and cant even get your car into 3rd w/o it pegging the dayum limit EVERY TIME. Someone here has to have some input on what the problem could be.

Re: Transmission guys inside please ~~~~>

i had the same problems with mine, the rebuilder installed a 12 pin plug (purple) rather than a 13 pin (green).
if you look at http://www.transmissioncenter.net/4L60E.htm
you will notice the elecronics are differant for a 95 and unique for a 95.

This is a common problem on "generic" rebuilt 4L60E's. Most builders don't know how to solve the problem. Those of us who spewcialize in building race 4L60Es know how to solve the problem. By the way...The cause of the problem is internal...Which means the transmission has to come back out to fix it.

The problem is internal ok, it is normally too much 3-4 clutch clearance, to little 3rd gear accumulation, not enough feed oil going to the 3-4 clutch pack, etc. There are fixes for this, let me know if I can be of help?
