transmission banging - not tranny mount

basically, been noticing a noise and can feel something banging under the car relating to the transmission.

replaced my tranny mount couple weeks ago cause the old one had literally split in half and rotted to almost nothing. that solved an immense number of problems. but now im noticing a slight banging sound when i shift gears and can feel through my seat something hitting under the car.

so i started experimenting and found that if i move the shifter back and forth to the point of engaging gears but not completely something feels and sounds like its banging under the car. all i can think of its its another bushing worn out for the transmission ... or the transmission.

any ideas on what it can be ? before i crawl under her tommorow.

thnx

take a look at the mounting point for the torque arm, mine was loose for a while and it banged around something crazy. it the bushings are worn or the mount is loose it will cause quite a ruckus.

i had a problem with my off-road y-pipe. that was hitting right under the driver seat. i know many people had this same problem even with different brands.
