so i was drivin then went to stop at a stop light then my car got stuck in 4th gear, then i pulled over and the shifter was extremly hard to move and wouldnt move out of 5th and 6th gear. So then i had to get my car home some ho and after completly buning my clutch out tryin to get my car moving i was driving and i got it into 4th and now it will only go into 4th and neutral and thats it what could be wrong with it? clutch, or transmission.

 

I'd suspect the transmission; a dragging clutch can make it hard to get into gear, but that wouldn't affect only one gear. Are there any odd noises from the trans, or dripping oil? Also, how is it hard to shift? Is the shifter difficult to move in any direction, does it move easily right to left but with difficulty forward and back into the gears, or does it move easily but the trans starts to make grinding noises when it's about to go into gear?
