I have a 1995 z28 with 150 k miles on it, i need to put a new tranny in, but i was wondering if any one could let me in on a good one maybe?? would a turbo 350 or 400 be good with it? its pretty much stock......thanx for any ideas?

 

On a stock car I see no reason why you would want a turbo 350 or 400. Those transmissions dont have overdrive and would almost ruin the streetability of your car. If the tranny needs rebuilt i have heard lots of good things about Dana at pro built transmissions. www.pro-built.net Other than that i say just drive yours til it doesnt go anymore.

I would just have my 4L60E rebuilt, or do the rebuild myself.
