Heres me situation:

when my m6 95 z28 is idling in neutral, stick in neutral and clutch out it makes a knocking noise a continuous clunk-clunk-clunk. but when i press down the clutch it makes the noise go away. i think it might affect my driving because the car chugs a little when im about 1/4 throttle. i have no idea what this could be and a shop i went to told me to wait till it gets louder and bring it back...i dont really wanna do that as it may cause more damage. Please i need your expert knowledge...

its called clutch chatter, and it is very common with aftermarket clutches... no big deal my spec stage 3 has horrible chatter
