I'm about to change my rearend and transmission fluids in my '95 Formula.

i'm doing the same thing with my new (used) z28
i just got sae 80w-90 gl5 gear oil plus the gm additive (#1052358) which is what is reccommended for the rear end
for the transmission, i believe i got just something dexron III or something
something dexron III will be good enough for it
i also heard i need a gasket an rtv sealant though to change the fluid? anybody know if this is true or not?

I went with Castrol for the rear-end lube. Wal-Mart and our parts stores didn't have a very good selection at the time, but I knew Castrol would be a good choice.

I went with Pennzoil Dexron/Mercon for the trans, but I haven't changed it yet.

Redline D4 ATF for the M6

Redline Lightweight or Heavy Shockproof for rear
or 75W90 or 75W90NS (no limited slip modifiers) if you have a Torsen
