Trans Cooler? Odering tom. please help

Alright i have decided to go with the B&M hi-teck cooler with integrated fan....as suggest by injuneer (you know your stuff). Now i was wondering which size should i get? there are two:

9"H x 13.5"L x 3.5"thick and 9.5" fan

6.5"H x 10.5"L x 4"thick and 7" fan

I want the first one (the bigger one) but is there enough room to mount that thing? It is so crammed under there anyway. So Is there room to mount it? and where should i mount it?

(injuneer do you have a better pic of yours installed......i have seen the close up one, but is hard to tell where it is mounted)

I need to know cause i plan on ordering tom----have to have the cooler/shift kit/3500stall in before i pull her out for spring.

I would just suggest the Hayden 1405 cooler. There is no need for the extra fan... The 1405 is rated up to 26,000 GVW and will surely cool your tranny enough... Best of all, it fits right up in front of the radiator with no problems at all...

Just my opinion but Fred needs that big ol cooler, with your mods you can get a cheaper cooler and it will work just fine.

Well to late it's in the mail. should be here tom.

I will probably need this in the future.......I like to go all out when i do something--just who i am The feature i like is it has a temperature controlled fan that kicks on automatically when it reaches 160 degrees.

This car is going to be a 8 sec street legal car---someday, somehow

Thats cool if your building for the future.
I will go overkill on some things myself but on others I will go cheap, just depends on what it is.
