tranny temp gauge and sender
tranny temp gauge and sender
wanna get this..a bit expensive 69.99 + the sender 15.99
is this a easy installation (just inscrew the sender in the tranny and put in the new one..is it that easy?) how accurate are these?

The more I thought about it, the more I realized there is a stock trans temp sensor on the 4L60E. It is "internal" to the tranny, and feeds the PCM, so you don't want to just "unscrew" it.... you will get trouble codes. The rest of the info is OK... You need to add another sensor, and there is a port on the passenger side of the tranny.
Thats a bit much for the gauge. I think i paid $40 trans temp and $15 for sender . There is a guy on ebay that sells cyberdyne gauges for alot less. I got my FP gauge with sender for less than that price of the trans temp gauge. Email me for the guys addy. and use the port in the side of the trans. Steven
