Tranny temp gauge

I installed a tranny temp gauge, but the temp i'm getting from the guage is colder than the temp my scanner is reading, and i believe my scanner over the gauge, what could be making my gauge inaccurate?

Re: Tranny temp gauge

well hell, i guess it is right, i just took a drive with the scanner and know the tranny is staying cold like the gauge shows, before it would get up to like 205 which is too damn hot, but now it didn't go above 170. Maybe it's cause i fixed this problem i had with the tranny vibrating, i guess that vibration was heating the tranny up bad. Isn't it nice when you answer you own guestions, LOL
