Tranny swapped but slight issue

Hey guys. I just dropped my performabuilt tranny in today. I tinkmy pinion angle is off because i get a lot of vibration especially on the highway. I put a new Tranny mount in that seemed a littletaller than the pervious. Could that be why the angle is off? I didn't do the installbut I did watch the guy that did it. I know the drive shaft is fine because it wasn't doing this on the way to get this done. The mount is the olny thing I can think of that may be a problem. i got it from summit and they say it is the correct one but the one we took out was a little more flattened. Just wanting to know if could be something else.

What kind of mount was it? An OEM replacement or aftermarket polyurethane?

If its was and after market poly mount that may very well be the source of your vibration the stock mount is soft and mush for a reason to absorb drive train vibration and keep you from feeling it .
I hear , read and get calls from guys having this issue after installing these mounts with no other changes made all the time

Yes it is a poly mount

I am planning on switching back to a stock one. I figured that was the culprit. I should have known better. I thought it being taller was the problem but it just may be how stiff it is. Now if I can get it to go into park I should be good to go. It does shift great now compared to what it was doing. It was wierd though because whn we were done th motor started missing a bit. I don't think it has anything to do with the tranny so I have someone checking it out. I made sure everything was put back and tight. I took the day off work to watch them do it because I just dn't trust some people enough and I like to learn this stuff. i am pretty good on most of this but know expert. I was surprised that with the right tools it really isn't that hard of a swap. Thanks for the help guy's.

Re

Frank I think it is working now. I just picked it up from having the water pump and opti replaced. Not cheap. I have only drove it home so far but it does seem like it is in park now. I am going to make sure a lttle later. I still need to change my wires out and it should be running good. I am going to take it for a better test once the wires are replaced. I should get those done tom. Had to get everything fixed so it hasn't been drove much.
