hey guys i changed the transmission filter and oil and it still dosent want to work so well after i changed those things i got the car at idle and got it in reverse and it wouldent go so i tride drive and it moved. so i talked to one of my cusins and he said that the solenoids mught be busted. so has any one had this kind of problem, what you do to fix it. the car dosent recerse, it drives forward but makes a grinding sound.

 

None of the solenoids will cause a "no reverse" problem. The gringing sound dictates that you have some serious internal problems. Most likely a bad rear planetary.
When you changed the fluid, did you see alot of metal debris in the pan?

not really the oil was dirty but nothing out of the ordinary but i still have the oil pan with the oil i will check it tonite after work
